SPF permerror
A permanent, unrecoverable problem in your SPF record. SPF is not failing "sometimes" — it is not working at all.
What causes it
- More than 10 DNS lookups in the record, counting every include:, a, mx, ptr, exists and redirect= recursively.
- Two or more SPF records published on the same name.
- A syntax error, such as a stray character, a missing colon, or an unknown mechanism.
- More than two "void" lookups — include: or redirect= targets that resolve to nothing.
How to fix it
Run the domain through the checker below. If the lookup count is over 10, remove providers you no longer use, or replace an include: with the specific ip4: ranges behind it. If two records are listed, merge every mechanism into a single TXT record beginning v=spf1.
